I was so busy enjoying my extra day off on Monday in Paris that I didn't get a chance to post until late. Better late than never I guess. Bastille Day is known in France as Fête Nationale du 14 juillet or just let quatorze juillet. It's their Independence Day and they celebrate it with gusto as you can see from the fireworks above. My photos didn't come out as well so I'm borrowing this one that French designer Chahan Minassian posted to Instagram last night.
Le quatorze juillet is also a good excuse to post more about Paris. I've been working with eBay to create some fun new Collections and Buying Guides based around French themes connected to my trip. I'm even helping to curate an eBay Pinterest board, The Chic Guide to French Decorating. Below are some of the guides I've created so far and there will be more to come so make sure to check back often.
10 Insanely Chic French Films highlights all the films I watch to practice my French and study their style.
The Chic Guide to Shopping the French Pharmacies is my list of the 10 beauty products you must buy when you visit Paris. My skin has never looked better.
Top 10 Books by Americans in Paris highlights some of the books I read before embarking on my summer in Paris and those I'm still reading.
Everyone visits the Louvre but you should put these Five Small and Chic Paris Museums on your list for your next trip.
I know the Top Five Places to Eat in Paris is going to create some controversy but these restaurants are the ones that were on the list that every person sent me before my trip.
This blog post was written as part of my collaboration with eBay but all opinions are my own.
